My last few blog posts have been about travel, so I thought I would mix things up and give a work update. I don’t think I have shared much so far about my current role at Accenture. I am working as the lead for our Digital Hub, an innovation space that we have here in Singapore.
What is the Digital Hub? The Digital Hub is both the home of our Accenture Digital practice and also a collaborative space to host clients and allow them to experience our unique way of working. My role as the Digital Hub lead is to work with our internal teams to plan and execute different types of client engagements, from short tours to multi-day workshops to longer-term projects. I also support our Digital practice on a few different strategic projects.
I started with the team in February, at which point they had already been in the space for close to 18 months. In November, we hosted a celebration to mark two years in our Singapore Digital Hub space. We thought it was a great opportunity to reflect on our accomplishments and look forward to new opportunities in the upcoming year.
Over the course of the day we hosted a breakfast for the leadership team, a town hall for our core Digital team and a social in the office (featuring a photo booth and t-shirt printing). You can watch the video below (alternative video title: see Amanda make funny faces at work).
